Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a prescription from my doctor to be seen?

You do not need a prescription to start treatment but VIP Therapy will need the name and number of your provider. This is needed to communicate that services have been initiated and any possible underlying concerns or issues that might be found at the assessment.

What will my first visit be like?

Dr. Breanna will arrive with her treatment table, fascia tools, and PEMF to complete your assessment and initial treatment. She will arrive 5 min prior to your scheduled time to set up. Various mobility assessments analyzing gait, posture, range of motion and pain will be completed to help determine the root cause of your mobility dysfunction.

You will need to wear comfortable and loose clothing, preferably shorts and tee shirt. The assessment will last 60 min. You will be provided with a mobility worksheet and daily to do list to keep you on track until your next treatment session.

Why don’t you take my insurance?

VIP therapy, LLC is a private pay provider which means we work for you and not the insurance company. This allows us to provide one-on-one, individualized care with the same doctor of physical therapy at each session.

By being hands-on at every treatment you can expect less visits and quicker outcomes than traditional therapy.

How long will it take to feel better?

We wish we held a magic wand and could heal you today.  However, there are many factors which will affect that time it takes for us to get you back to nearly normal, including: the age of your pain or mobility limitation and the prior level of function/mobility.  Compliance to the program put in place at the initial assessment is also a major factor in getting you back to feeling better..

Most clients feel some type of relief after the first session with noted improvement after the third or fourth treatment. Many clients are seen for 6-8 visits and then continue on with monthly maintenance treatments.
